Do you want to participate in steamboat shenanigans but find yourself with out a crew member for the S.S. Friendship? Never fear! The Spine amigurumi is here! This little guy may not hold a one way ticket to destiny, but he’s sure hold a place in your heart!

So this is, quite obviously, The Spine from the music group Steam Powered Giraffe. I’ve been kicking around the idea of SPG amigurumis for a good month or so and The Spine was the first character I adored so it seemed fitting to start off with him!

The Spine is made using my own pattern. He is made from Medium weight (#4) yarn and a size “H” crochet hook. The stuffing is polyfiberfil. Estimated work time is 10 hours? I wasn’t that good at keeping track this go around.

He is roughly 9 1/2 inches tall.
